Every member of Acotur complies with the following objectives and requirements. Acotur is striving to become a leader in sustainable tourism in Colombia that benefits local communities and preserves the country’s natural and cultural heritage.

As described in the Declaración de Turismo Responsable de la Ciudad del Cabo de 2002 we are in agreement that the principle aim of responsible tourism is to create better places both for the local inhabitants and those visiting.

We are one of the most biodiverse countries in the world and our mission as an association is to promote tourism and preserve our country.
We want to exchange practices, making new contacts and help with promotion in the region together with Brazil
